Am I required to fast?

Yes, 12 hours fasting is required prior to collection of fasting Insulin in the blood spot portion of the Weight Management Profile.

Is a doctor's order required?

No. You do not need to provide a doctor’s order to get lab testing done at Any Lab Test Now.

When will I get my test results?

You can walk in during our work-friendly hours to purchase this kit.  Some locations can ship the At Home Collection Kit directly to you as an alternative convenience option.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY FOR AT-HOME KITS?

If you request a refund before we ship the Home Collection Kit, you will receive a full refund.  After the kit has shipped, the sale is final and will not be refunded in line with our Terms of Sale.

Your Home Collection Kit will be shipped to you via USPS First Class Mail.  The order will be processed as follows:

  • Home Collection Kits ordered before 3 p.m. will be shipped the same day
  • Home Collection Kits ordered after 3 p.m. will be shipped the following business day
  • Home Collection Kits ordered over the weekend will be shipped the following business day.
CAN YOU SHIP MY HOME COLLECTION KIT TO A P.O. BOX?

Yes, we can.  Kits are mailed via U.S. Postal Service, first class mail.

CAN I PICK UP MY HOME COLLECTION KIT FROM THE STORE?

Yes, you can.  Simply choose this option from the dropdown menu during the order process.  Your kit will be waiting for you when you arrive during the store’s standard business hours.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY HOME COLLECTION KIT AFTER I PAY FOR IT?

Your Home Collection Kit will be shipped to you via U.S. Postal Service, first class mail, as follows:

  • Home Collection Kits ordered before 3 p.m. will be shipped the same day
  • Home Collection Kits ordered after 3 p.m. will be shipped the following business day
  • Home Collection Kits ordered over the weekend will be shipped the following business day

Regular mail delivery times vary.  Since the package will be shipped locally, we anticipate 1 to 3 business days from the time the Home Collection Kit is shipped.

DO YOU SHARE MY TEST RESULTS WITH MY DOCTOR?

No, you own your test results.  You can then make the decision whether or not to share your test results with your physician.  Note that certain lab test results, such as positive/reactive STDs and HIV, are required to be reported to the Health Department.

DOES MY DOCTOR NEED TO PROVIDE ME WITH A PRESCRIPTION TO ORDER THE HOME COLLECTION KIT TEST?

No, we’ve got you covered!  Our ordering physician will provide the necessary order as part of your test.

CAN I ORDER A TEST FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

If you order a Home Collection Kit through our eCommerce site, the person that orders the test is considered the Tested Party, in line with our Terms of Sale.  If you wish to order a Home Collection Kit on behalf of someone else, please call your nearest store location for assistance.

ARE ANY LAB TEST NOW’S HOME COLLECTION KITS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN?

The clinical lab tests are for adults over the age of 18 only.  Informational Paternity Tests include collecting a buccal swab sample from a child or children.

WILL THE HOME COLLECTION KIT YOU SEND ME BE DISCREET?

Your Home Collection Kit will be shipped in a plain box with an address label for shipping.  The shipping label will include Any Lab Test Now’s store address in case the kit must be returned by the U.S. Postal Service.  The outside of the box will not reveal the type of test you ordered.

HOW DO I COLLECT THE SAMPLES REQUIRED FOR THE TEST?

Step-by-step collection instructions are included with each type of test kit.

DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS TO ENSURE I COLLECT MY SAMPLE CORRECTLY?

Follow the instructions included in each kit carefully.  Make sure you fill any tubes, such as saliva or urine, to the required fill lines.  Wash your hands before collecting your samples.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I DO NOT COLLECT ENOUGH OF MY SAMPLE AND THE LAB IS UNABLE TO PERFORM THE TEST?

Any Lab Test Now will notify you if your sample is rejected.  You will be required to recollect your sample using another kit.  We can either ship another kit to you or you may come by and pick one up.  There is an additional $15.00 charge for the new kit and pre-paid shipping of the recollected specimen to the laboratory.

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR THE RECOLLECTED SAMPLE? DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER TEST?

There is an additional $15.00 charge for the new kit and pre-paid shipping of the recollected specimen to the laboratory.  This will be paid to the Any Lab Test Now store that processed your order.  You do not have to pay for another test.

WHAT IF I ACCIDENTALLY DROP THE SWAB ON THE FLOOR OR OTHER SURFACE AFTER I COLLECTED MY SAMPLE?

Do not send a contaminated swab to the laboratory.  Put all remaining kit components into the box for safekeeping.  Simply call the Any Lab Test Now store location that processed your order.  You can quickly go to the store and pick up a replacement swab, or we can send you another swab via USPS first class mail

WHAT IF THE DATE ON THE URINE OR BLOOD SPOT CARD I RECEIVE IN MY KIT IS EXPIRED?

If you happen to receive an expired urine or blood spot card in your Home Collection Kit, immediately contact the store that fulfilled your kit order.  Contact information will be listed on your Order Receipt and a business card will be in your kit box.  They will immediately replace the card for you at no cost.

HOW QUICKLY DO I NEED TO MAIL MY SAMPLE AFTER I’VE COMPLETED COLLECTION?

We recommend that you ship your sample to the laboratory the same day or the day after you have collected your specimen for testing.

HOW DO I SHIP MY SAMPLE TO THE LAB?

Place your collected specimen in the specimen bag provided in the kit.  Make sure it is securely sealed.  Place the specimen bag into the kit box, along with any required paperwork that may have been included in your kit.  Securely close the kit box.  Each Home Collection Kit contains a pre-paid shipping envelope.  Place the kit box containing the specimens and paperwork into the pre-paid shipping envelope, then seal. Drop the envelope off at the U.S. postal service location near you or other appropriate shipping provider, as reflected on the shipping label.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY SAMPLE TO ARRIVE AT THE LAB?

Samples will be returned to the laboratory via USPS first class mail for most Home Collection Kits.  The shipment time is dependent on the U.S. postal service, and can range from 2 to 7 business days in most instances.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY TEST RESULTS?

After your specimen is received at the laboratory, test results are generally available in 3 to 5 business days.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY TEST RESULTS?

You will receive your test results through the e-mail address provided in your order.  Some store locations use our test results portal.  Some store locations provide test results through secure e-mail.  Contact the store location that fulfilled your kit order if you have any problems accessing test results.

FOR CLINICAL LAB TESTS, WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE AN ABNORMAL OR POSITIVE TEST RESULT?

Any Lab Test Now does not diagnose or treat.  However, we work with well-known reference laboratories that physicians across the country know and trust.  If you receive an abnormal or positive test result, we highly recommend contacting your primary care physician.  For non-emergency situations such as urinary tract infections, sinus infections or STDs, you may want to contact our telemedicine partner, DialCare.  In some instances, DialCare is able to e-prescribe medication when appropriate.

I PLACED AN ORDER THROUGH AN ANY LAB TEST NOW IN ANOTHER STATE. THEY CALLED AND SAID THEY ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS MY HOME COLLECTION KIT ORDER AND REFUNDED MY MONEY. WHY CAN’T THEY FULFILL MY ORDER?

Any Lab Test Now’s ordering physicians are only licensed within the state where each store does business.  As an example, if a physician is licensed only in Texas, they are not able to order lab tests for residents within another state.  Also, Home Collection Kits are not authorized for sale in the states of NJ, NY or RI due to their state regulations.

AM I ABLE TO PAY FOR MY HOME COLLECTION KIT WITH MY HEALTH SAVINGS OR FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT CARD?

Your HSA or FSA card can be used for clinical lab tests.  HSA and FSA cards cannot be used for social-based tests, such as Informational Paternity Tests.

DOES ANY LAB TEST NOW ACCEPT INSURANCE?

No, Any Lab Test Now does not accept insurance.  We are a direct access lab testing provider, which is how we can keep our test prices affordable and transparent.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE A QUESTION OR PROBLEM?

Each kit contains contact information for the Any Lab Test Now store that fulfilled your order.  Simply give them a call.

WHAT IF I NEVER RECEIVE THE HOME COLLECTION KIT?

Please contact the Any Lab Test Now location where you placed the order.  They will be able to help you and ensure you receive a test kit.

CAN MY MINOR CHILD ORDER A TEST WITHOUT MY CONSENT?

No.  Home Collection Kits can be ordered by adults only.  Please review our Terms of Sale.

DO YOU HAVE INSTRUCTIONS IN SPANISH?

Collection instructions in Spanish are only included in Informational Paternity test kits.
