The Anemia Panel is a comprehensive panel that includes a CBC, Ferritin, Folates, Total Iron Binding Capacity with Iron, Reticulocyte Count, Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid.

A CBC (Complete Blood Count) looks at important parameters of your blood including hemoglobin level, white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets.  The Ferritin, Iron and Total Iron Binding Capacity tests work together to indicate if you have an iron deficiency, which is the most common form of anemia. The Reticulocyte  Count  can  help  determine  if  you  are  producing  enough  red  blood  cells  and  can  help determine the cause of different types of anemia. Finally, this panel will determine any Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid deficiency, often the reason for the onset of anemia.

Routine lab testing is a great way to monitor your health. It is also a good way to establish a baseline; by knowing your baseline levels, you can begin to monitor these values to see how they change over time.

If you are ready to take control of your health but you are not sure where to start, the Annual Check-Up Panel can provide valuable information. This panel consists of 5 tests that are typically ordered by a healthcare provider during an annual physical examination. These tests provide information about your blood counts, kidney function, liver function, electrolytes, cholesterol, triglycerides, hemoglobin A1c, and thyroid function.

Routine lab testing is a great way to monitor your health.  It is also a good way to establish a starting point for yourself.  By knowing your initial levels, you can begin to monitor these values to see how they change over time.

If you are ready to take control of your health, the Annual Check-Up Panel Plus can provide valuable, in-depth information.  This panel consists of 10 tests that may be ordered by a healthcare provider during an annual physical examination.  You’ll receive all the information provided with our standard Annual Check-Up Panel (blood counts, liver function, kidney function, electrolytes, cholesterol, and triglycerides) PLUS additional insight into your thyroid health, your risk for diabetes, and your vitamin B12 levels.

This test is a great way to collaborate with your healthcare provider to make informed decisions that allow you to stay ahead of potential health concerns.

If you are ready to take control of your health but you are not sure where to start, the Annual Check-Up Panel with Urinalysis can provide valuable information. This panel consists of 6 tests that are typically ordered by a healthcare provider during an annual physical examination.  Blood tests provide information about your blood counts, kidney function, liver function, electrolytes, cholesterol, triglycerides, hemoglobin A1c, and thyroid function.  A urinalysis adds an additional layer of information about your urinary tract health.  It’s also an effective way to screen for conditions like diabetes.

The Antinuclear Antibodies (ANA) test looks for antinuclear antibodies in your blood. It is often used to detect autoimmune disorders.

The ANA test looks for antinuclear antibodies in your blood. This test can be used to screen for autoimmune disorders; if you want to know if you have a specific autoimmune disorder, that may require additional testing. Symptoms of autoimmune disorders can vary; this includes symptoms such as fever, fatigue, swelling, joint and muscle pain, rashes, and more. If you suspect that you have an autoimmune disorder, the ANA test can be a good starting point.

Arthritis is an inflammatory disorder that affects one or more joints. There are several different conditions that can affect the joints and other connective tissues. These include osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus), and more. If you are concerned about rheumatoid arthritis, other autoimmune diseases, or other inflammatory conditions, this panel can be a good starting point.

The Arthritis Screening Panel includes Rheumatoid Factor, Antinuclear Antibodies, and C‐Reactive Protein (High Sensitivity). It also includes a Complete Blood Count (CBC) and a Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), which are often ordered in an annual physical examination and can be used to monitor a variety of conditions.

The Nutritional Panel includes a variety of tests that can help you determine if you are getting enough nutrition.   This panel can also help rule out adrenal gland disorders and malnutrition.   It is commonly ordered by doctors before surgery or for patients who are hospitalized or chronically ill.

The Nutritional Panel also includes a CBC, which measures important parameters of the cellular makeup of your blood that can  reveal anemia, signs of infection or other factors that may cause fatigue; a CMP, which analyzes electrolytes, sugar, proteins, and enzymes including sodium, potassium, calcium, glucose and liver/kidney function tests; and an Iron and Total Iron Binding Capacity – which measures the amount of iron in your blood.

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are also known as sexually transmitted infections (STI). This refers to a group of infections that can be spread from one person to another through sexual contact. Treatment of STDs depends on the type of infection. HIV, Herpes, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HPV are caused by viruses. Chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis are bacterial infections, and trichomoniasis is a parasitic infection.

STDs are common, and it is possible to have an STD and not realize it. Symptoms of STDs can vary- some people might experience significant symptoms, and others might not have any symptoms at all. Even if people do not feel any symptoms, they can still spread STDs. This is why STD testing is so important.

Early detection is essential for STD treatment. If you think you may have been exposed to an STD, or if you simply want to get tested, then the Basic STD Panel could be a good option for you. This panel looks for HIV, syphilis, herpes (HSV1 & HSV 2), gonorrhea, and chlamydia. If you are interested in testing for additional STDs, you should consider the Comprehensive STD Panel, the Comprehensive STD Plus Panel, or the Comprehensive STD Premium Panel.

Please note that for gonorrhea and/or chlamydia testing, it is recommended that customers not urinate within one hour prior to providing a specimen.  Females also should not cleanse the genital area prior to providing a specimen.

THESE 3 TESTS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS PANEL:

1. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)
2. T3 Free
3. T4 Free

WHAT DOES THE THYROID GLAND DO?

The thyroid gland is responsible for regulating how your body uses energy through the production of hormones critical to proper cell and system functioning.

There are three main hormones in the thyroid system that should be balanced:

1. TSH: Thyroid Stimulating Hormone is the most important of the hormones in the thyroid system, this stimulates or acts on the thyroid gland, telling it how much of the actual thyroid hormones need to be made.
2. T3 Free: Free T3 measures the amount of active thyroid hormone (T3) available for your body to use. T3 helps control how your body uses energy, including your metabolism and how many organs function.
3. T4 Free: Free T4 measures the amount of thyroid hormone (T4) available in your blood. T4 is mostly a “storage” form that your body converts into the active hormone T3 and helps support normal metabolism.

A thyroid hormone panel screens for thyroid function and can help diagnose potential thyroid disease by examining your body’s production, levels, or usage of the different thyroid hormones.  There are two types of thyroid and thyroid hormone-related disorders:

1. Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) – symptoms may include fatigue, weight gain, a short attention span, and numbness or cold intolerance.
2. Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) – symptoms may include weight loss, persistent vomiting, increased blood pressure, hair loss, or a persistently fast heart rate.

WHY DO I NEED THIS TEST?

If there is a thyroid level imbalance in your body, you may be more susceptible to everything from osteoporosis and heart disease to infertility and fatigue.

Thyroid disorders are more common in women and they often occur with changes in other hormone levels, such as with pregnancy or with older age.

The Blood Typing and RH Factor Test determines your blood type [either A, B, AB, and O] and Rh factor [negative or positive].  Did you know there are several benefits in knowing both?

Blood type is determined by the types of antigens (or markers) on your blood cells.  Antigens are proteins on the surface of your blood cells that can cause a response from the immune system – which is good in fighting disease.

The Rh factor is a type of protein on the surface of red blood cells.  Red blood cells that contain protein are called Rh‐positive and the red blood cells that don’t are Rh‐negative. If you have Rh‐negative blood, it can be given to anyone because it can’t be identified as foreign in other people’s bodies (because it doesn’t have an antigen.)

The  Lipids  Panel  can  determine  if  you  have  abnormal  cholesterol  or  triglyceride  levels.  These  are important because they can also help you and your doctor determine if you’re at risk for heart disease or other coronary (heart) illnesses.

Cholesterol is fat that is produced by the liver. It can also be obtained from foods like cheeseburgers, pizza, etc. There are two kinds of cholesterol – the good and the bad.

1. High Density Lipoproteins (HDL) = Good cholesterol.
2. Low Density Lipoproteins (LDL) = Bad cholesterol.

Cholesterol is a waxy substance produced by the liver; it can also be obtained from the foods you eat, like meat, dairy products, etc. High cholesterol is also known as “hyperlipidemia”. Having high cholesterol can increase your risk of stroke and heart disease.

High cholesterol can be managed with lifestyle changes and medications. Sometimes, the medications used to treat high cholesterol can cause liver issues. Although this is not a common side effect, healthcare providers may still want to monitor liver function in their patients who take cholesterol medication.

The Cholesterol Medication Maintenance Panel is ideal for someone who is taking cholesterol medication, or for someone who needs to have their cholesterol and liver function checked on a routine basis.

Start the conversation about colorectal cancer screening before signs and symptoms occur. Fewer than half of people found to have colorectal cancer are diagnosed at an early stage, when treatment is most effective. Are you at risk? Do you have one or more of the following risk factors? Getting screened gives you greater peace of mind.

Some risk factors:

• Are over 45 years of age
• Had colorectal polyps or cancer in the past
• Have a family history of colorectal cancer (in parent, brother, sister, or child)
• Have ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease
• Eat a diet high in fat and low in calcium, fiber, and folate
• Smoke cigarettes
• Have certain genetic conditions

Colorectal cancer (CRC) refers to cancer of the colon and the rectum. It is one of the most common causes of cancer-related deaths in the United States. In recent years, CRC diagnosis rates have been increasing in younger populations as well (people younger than 50 years of age).

Typically, colorectal cancer does not present noticeable symptoms in the early stages. This is why timely screening for colorectal cancer is essential; when found early, CRC is more easily treatable. Despite the importance of this, many people are not up-to-date with their colorectal cancer screenings. This can be due to many reasons- financial constraints, time issues, concerns about invasive procedures, not wanting to handle stool, and more.

Now, Any Lab Test Now is excited to offer an easy blood-based test to help screen for colorectal cancer. This test uses DNA methylation markers common to colorectal cancer cells to look for the possible presence of colorectal cancer. All it takes is a simple blood draw. Once you receive your results, you can take them to your healthcare provider who can help guide you through the next steps. This test is not limited to people over the age of 45 – it can be performed for all adults.

Please note that the Colorectal Cancer Screen (Blood) test is not intended to replace a colonoscopy. It is meant to be used as a screening tool for the early detection of colorectal cancer. Based on the results of your test, a colonoscopy may still be recommended. We recommend that you work with a trusted healthcare provider to discuss the colorectal cancer screening options that are best for you.

*This screening test does not detect all colorectal cancers and precursor lesions (e.g. advanced adenomas), nor other cancer types. It does not replace other CRC screening tests recommended by a healthcare provider. A negative test result does not rule out the presence of CRC or reduce CRC risk in a high-risk individual. A positive test result does not establish a clinical diagnosis of CRC.

A CBC is a great test to take to give you a “snapshot” of your health.  This test gives important information about the kind and the number of cells in your blood. Physicians use this information to evaluate symptoms, help diagnose conditions and treat certain illnesses (like infections).

The  Saliva  Hormone  Test  is  the  best  non-invasive  method  for  discovering  any  type  of  hormone  imbalance  in either  males  or  females.  Hormone  imbalance  can  occur  at  any  age  and  can  be  due  to  a  multitude  of  reasons.

The  ovaries  produce  many  of  the  hormones  in  females,  which  also  communicate  with  the  brain  to  either  in-crease  or  decrease  the  release  of  various  other  hormones. The  imbalance  within  the  body  can lead  to  symptoms  experienced  during  a  short  period  of  time  or  for  many  years.

In  men,  the  testes  produce  mainly  95%  of  all  testosterone,  which  is  balanced  by  the  adrenal  gland. The  brain  also  regulates  the  increase  or  decrease  of  hormones  released  within  the  body. The  irregularity  of  testosterone  within  the  body  may  contribute  to  decreased  bone  density,  decreased  muscle  strength  and  decreased  libido.

Even if you are feeling well, routine lab testing is an important part of maintaining your health. If you are looking for a general overview of your health but you are not sure where to start, the Comprehensive Male Wellness Panel could be a good option for you. It consists of 8 tests that provide valuable information about your blood counts, kidney and liver function, electrolytes, cholesterol, hemoglobin A1c, thyroid function, prostate health, and hormone levels. This panel is ideal for men of all ages who want to take control of their health.

Creatinine  is  the  end-product  of  creatine  metabolism.  The  presence  of  creatine  is  primarily  in  muscle.  The  amount  of  creatinine  is  related  to  total  skeletal  muscle  mass.  Daily creatinine  production  is  regular,  except  when  there  is  massive  injury  to  muscle.  In  healthy  individuals,  the  kidneys  excrete  creatinine,  and  blood  levels  and  daily  urinary  excretion  of  creatinine  fluctuates  very  little.

Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR or sed rate) is a test that indirectly measures the degree of inflammation. Inflammation is part of the body’s immune response. It can be acute, which can show an increase in value after trauma, injury or infection. If the ESR is elevated for a long period of time, then it could be seen in conditions like autoimmune disease or cancer. The ESR is used as a screening test and not diagnostic, it provides general information about possible presence of an inflammatory condition. The ESR test has also been good indicator for diagnosis and monitoring of the following diseases, temporal arteritis, polymyaglia rheumatica, and systemic vaculitis.

Estrogens are a group of sex hormones most commonly associated with women, although men produce small amounts of estrogens as well.  Estradiol (E2) is the primary form of estrogen produced by a woman’s body during her reproductive years.  Other estrogen hormones include estrone (E1) and estriol (E3).  Estrone is associated with post-menopausal women and estriol is associated with pregnancy.

The Estradiol (E2) Test measures the amount of estradiol in your blood, which may help evaluate ovarian function and monitor follicular development during ovulation.  It is important to note that estradiol levels fluctuate over the course of a woman’s regular menstrual cycle.  Knowing where you are in your menstrual cycle when you take this test may aid you and your healthcare provider in interpreting your test results.

This test may be used to assess estrogen production in men using specialized reference ranges. Excess estrogen in males often results in breast tissue enlargement, referred to as gynecomastia.

This test is intended for biological females only, and is not appropriate for standard male reference ranges.

The Ferritin Test measures the level of ferritin molecules in the blood.

Ferritin is a protein in the body that binds to iron.  The level of ferritin correlates with the total amount of iron stored in the body.   Ferritin is low in those with iron deficiency anemia and high when levels of iron are raised.  Liver dysfunction can cause elevated ferritin levels because the liver is unable to clear it from the body.  Ferritin may also be increased when the body is inflamed or an infection is present.

The Glucose (Serum) Test, also known as the Fasting Blood Glucose Test, is the most common test used to diagnose hyperglycemia (higher than normal levels of blood sugar), hypoglycemia (lower than normal levels of blood sugar) and diabetes. It’s commonly given by your doctor every year and during pregnancy. In addition, Diabetics self conduct this test multiple times a day to monitor their blood glucose.

This test is to determine if a person has an allergic reaction to gluten. Gluten is a protein found in rye, barley and wheat. The IgE test looks for antibodies which are seen in people that have a particular allergy. Allergy testing can help identify or rule out an allergy if someone is experiencing symptoms.

The Hemoglobin A1c Test is a valuable measure of the overall blood glucose levels over a period of time (2‐3 months). This test can be used to help detect pre‐diabetes and diagnose diabetes.  If you’re diabetic, this test can help determine if your disease is under control.

The Liver Function Panel (Hepatic Function) measures the blood levels of seven tests that you may want to  check  to  see  how  well  your  liver  is working.    Your  doctor  may  order  it  if  you’re  suffering  from symptoms related to liver disease or if you regularly take medicine, which can affect the liver.  This test is also recommended if you’ve been exposed to a Hepatitis A, B, or C virus.

Herpes is caused by the herpes simplex virus, or HSV. There are two types of HSV- HSV 1 and HSV 2.

HSV 1 typically causes oral herpes, which can result in sores on/around your mouth. These are sometimes called cold sores or fever blisters. Many people with oral herpes get it early in life through non-sexual contact with saliva.

HSV 2 is usually the cause of genital herpes, which is an STI (sexually transmitted infection). This can result in sores on the genitals. Some cases of genital herpes can also be caused by HSV 1.

Many people with herpes show little to no symptoms, so the best way to know if you have it is by testing for it. This test can tell you if you have HSV 1 or HSV 2. There is no cure for herpes, but outbreaks can be managed with medications.

The C‐Reactive Protein (High Sensitivity, Cardiac) (CRP) is a blood test that measures the amount of protein (called C‐reactive Protein) in your blood that indicates inflammation.  It’s also used to assess your risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD).  “High Sensitivity” means that this particular test can see if you have an increased chance of having a heart problem or heart attack.

The best way to utilize test results is to be tested two different times (typically taken two weeks apart). Your physician will take the average of the two test results to determine your risk for cardiovascular disease or the presence of inflammation.

High levels of CRP are caused by infections and many long‐term diseases. But a CRP test cannot show where the inflammation is located or what is causing it. Other tests are needed to find the cause and location of the inflammation.

HIV is a sexually transmitted disease (that can be spread outside of sexual contact) known as Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).   It is the virus that causes AIDS. This condition damages your immune system and can lead to serious illness, infections and many other symptoms.

There are two parts to the HIV Test at ANY LAB TEST NOW®.

1. The first part is an initial blood screen. A negative result means there are no HIV antibodies and p24 antigen in your blood.

2. If the screen is positive, the lab will run a confirmation test called an HIV 1 / 2 Antibody differentiation test. This confirmation test will determine an HIV-1 or HIV-2 virus.

The Human Papillomavirus, or HPV, is a sexually transmitted infection comprised of more than 150 different types of virus. HPV is spread by having vaginal, anal or oral sex with someone who has the virus. It is estimated that 80% of all sexually active individuals will contract HPV at some point in their life.

The HPV Test is a qualitative in vitro test for the detection of the Human Papillomavirus using a urine specimen for males. Urine is collected following kit instructions in the privacy of your own home. This test utilizes amplification of target DNA by Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and nucleic acid hybridization for the detection of 14 high-risk HPV types. The test specifically identifies HPV types 16 and 18, while concurrently detecting the rest of the high-risk types (31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66 and 68). When left untreated, HPV can lead to risks of anal and penile cancers.

This test kit is available for purchase in-store or for purchase online at select locations.

Test Results:

Turn-around time is approximately 2 – 3 days after the specimen arrives at the lab.

The Insulin (Fasting) Test measures the amount of insulin in your blood. Insulin is a hormone made by the pancreas that helps control blood sugar levels. A fasting insulin test can tell you if you are producing the right amount of insulin. If your insulin levels are too high or too low, it can affect your overall health. An elevated insulin level can mean that your body is not using insulin properly, which may lead to insulin resistance. Low levels of insulin may indicate problems with insulin production. Issues with insulin levels may cause symptoms such as frequent urination, excessive thirst, fatigue, unintentional weight loss, and more.

Lead is a toxic metal that is naturally occurring in the earth’s crust. Lead and lead compounds have been used in manufacturing compounds such as paint, fuel, batteries and cosmetics. Some of the most common sources of lead exposure in the United States come from Lead-based paints found in older homes, drinking water and pottery or crystals used for eating.

Occupational exposure to lead in the workplace can also occur. Here are some top work activities that may put you at risk for exposure: Welding (old painted metal), Battery manufacturing and recycling, Lead Soldering, Indoor Firing ranges, Bridge, tunnel or highway construction, Home renovation.

A lipoprotein is a small protein that carries different kinds of fats like cholesterol or triglycerides.  While the body produces many different kinds of lipoproteins, some of them can have positive or protective effects on heart health. However, too much of the same can also be a risk for your heart.

A standard cholesterol panel will include things like LDL, HDL and triglycerides.  Looking at cholesterol levels, specifically the LDL (sometimes called “bad cholesterol”) and HDL (sometimes called “good cholesterol”) is important; this is a very common tool of many healthcare providers.  A more in-depth look at the different parts of this system can provide an even better idea of the balance between risk factors and protective factors. 30% of the population can have “normal” cholesterol values, but have elevated lipoprotein particle numbers. This- along with other factors and tests- could indicate an elevated risk for heart disease.

Measles, also called Rubeola, is a highly contagious virus that can be very serious if contracted by children. The infection causes a fever, cough, runny nose, conjunctivitis, and a rash that begins on the face and spreads to the rest of the body. In very young children, measles can lead to pneumonia as the virus spreads to the lungs. In older children the virus could lead to pneumonia, croup, diarrhea or swelling of the brain (encephalitis) which could cause seizures and brain damage.
A measles infection in pregnant women can be very serious for the unborn child. The virus can be passed from the mother to the baby and could cause premature birth or spontaneous abortions. While this is rare, due to the increase in early childhood vaccination, it is important to know whether you are immune to the virus before becoming pregnant.

MMR stands for Measles, Mumps and Rubella (German Measles). The MMR Titer is a blood test that checks if you are immune to Measles, Mumps and Rubella. It measures your antibody levels to get a sense for whether your immune system has the capability to respond to an infection with one of these diseases.

The Mycotoxin Test looks for 16 of the most common mycotoxins that are toxic to humans. Mycotoxins are byproducts of mold. Mycotoxins are capable of producing various symptoms, including fatigue, sinus issues, shortness of breath, brain fog, and more. At Any Lab Test Now, testing for the presence of mycotoxins is easy and noninvasive. All it takes is a simple urine sample.

The Osteoporosis Risk Panel includes ten different tests that evaluate your risk for osteoporosis – a debilitating disease that causes bones to become more fragile.

Calcium and Vitamin D play a large part in diagnosing osteoporosis.  If you are deficient in these minerals, this panel will tell you.  The other tests help make the panel more comprehensive and give you and your physician a better evaluation of your bones and how your body processes the minerals needed to create bone.

Your health and wellness depend on your body’s ability to regulate all your vital systems and efficiently adapt to stressors. Much like an airport that depends on seamless coordination between air traffic control, ground crews, and flight operations, your body relies on clear communication between all its systems.

The Platinum Male Wellness Panel takes a deeper look at how your body’s main systems are communicating by assessing 19 lab tests and more than 65 biomarkers encompassing your hormones, metabolism, immune response, and nutrient balance. It goes beyond routine testing by connecting the dots between things like reproductive health, mood, inflammation, and energy production so you can better understand the language your body is speaking.

Ideal for individuals experiencing complex or nonspecific symptoms, this panel supports a more accurate clinical picture.  It will help you identify where your body may need support to restore balance, guide treatment, and optimize overall well-being.

The Pre-Medication PrEP Panel (Male) is meant for individuals who are thinking about starting PrEP. The tests in this panel can help you establish a baseline for your kidney and liver function before starting PrEP. The panel will also tell you your status for certain STDs, including HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. The difference between the Pre-Medication PrEP Panel (Female) and the Pre-Medication PrEP Panel (Male) is that the female panel also includes a pregnancy test (qualitative beta hCG).

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (also known as PrEP) refers to medications that can be used to decrease your risk of contracting HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). Examples of PrEP medications include Truvada, Descovy, and Apretude.

Before you start taking medication, it is essential to have PrEP lab testing done. These tests will help your healthcare provider ensure that PrEP is safe and suitable for you.

PrEP can be prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider. If you are interested in the Pre-Medication PrEP Panel, you should work with your healthcare provider to discuss your options, determine the frequency of lab testing, and to see if any additional testing is needed. If you are already using PrEP and looking to have lab testing done, check out the PrEP Monitoring Panel (Male).

Please note that for gonorrhea and/or chlamydia testing, it is recommended that customers not urinate within one hour prior to providing a specimen.  Females also should not cleanse the genital area prior to providing a specimen.

Common tests that your surgeon may ask you to have before surgery.

The PrEP Monitoring Panel (Male) is meant for individuals who are taking PrEP medication. The tests in this panel can help you monitor your kidney and liver function while using PrEP. The panel will also tell you your status for certain STDs, including HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. The difference between the PrEP Monitoring Panel (Female) and the PrEP Monitoring Panel (Male) is that the female panel also includes a pregnancy test (qualitative beta hCG).

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (also known as PrEP) refers to medications that can be used to decrease your risk of contracting HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus). Examples of PrEP medications include Truvada, Descovy, and Apretude.

Regular lab testing is an important part of your PrEP treatment. It allows your healthcare provider to monitor your health, catch any potential issues early on, and make sure the medication is working as it should be. By staying on top of these tests, you can take control of your health and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

PrEP can be prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider. If you are interested in the PrEP Monitoring Panel, you should work with your healthcare provider to discuss your options, determine the frequency of lab testing, and to see if any additional testing is needed. If you are looking to have lab testing done before starting PrEP treatment, check out the Pre-Medication PrEP Panel (Male).

Please note that for gonorrhea and/or chlamydia testing, it is recommended that customers not urinate within one hour prior to providing a specimen.  Females also should not cleanse the genital area prior to providing a specimen.

Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) is a protein made in the prostate gland. The PSA, Total test measures the amount of PSA in the blood.

PSA is either bound or unbound (free) in the blood. Bound PSA is attached to other proteins; free PSA is not attached to other proteins.

Elevated PSA levels may be found in conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis, prostate cancer, and others. PSA may also be elevated due to certain medications or urologic procedures.

The PSA test is not diagnostic of cancer, and PSA test results should be followed up by a healthcare provider.

Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) is a protein made in the prostate gland. The PSA, Free and Total test measures the amount of PSA in the blood.

PSA is either bound or unbound (free) in the blood. Bound PSA is attached to other proteins; free PSA is not attached to other proteins.

Free PSA may be tested if your total PSA is within a certain range. Lower levels of free PSA may be found in prostate cancer, whereas higher levels of free PSA may be found in non-cancerous conditions of the prostate.

Elevated total PSA levels may be found in conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis, prostate cancer, and others. Total PSA may also be elevated due to certain medications or urologic procedures.

The PSA test is not diagnostic of cancer, and PSA test results should be followed up by a healthcare provider.

QuantiFERON TB Gold Plus is a blood test used to aid in diagnosing both latent and active tuberculosis which is an infectious disease caused by a bacterium known as Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a sexually-transmitted viral infection that affects the immune system. If left untreated, HIV can lead to AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome). Symptoms of HIV can vary, and it is possible to have HIV and not realize it.This is why getting tested is so important.

The Rapid HIV Test is a quick way to screen for HIV with high sensitivity and specificity. Typically, it takes days to receive HIV test results. If you are concerned about HIV, Any Lab Test Now offers this faster testing option with screening results available in less than 30 minutes.

This test works by detecting antibodies to both HIV-1 and HIV-2, and only requires a small drop of blood to perform.

Please note that this is a screening test, not a diagnostic test. This test will give a result of either “reactive” or “non-reactive” for HIV. All “reactive” test results will be confirmed through additional testing. This means that for “reactive” results only, a blood sample (which requires a venous blood draw) will be sent out to an outside reference lab for diagnostic testing.

A renal panel is a group of tests that are used to evaluate the kidney (renal) Function. Minerals, electrolytes, proteins, and glucose are measured as part of a renal function panel.

If the kidneys are not working properly, waste products can accumulate in the blood and fluid levels could change which could cause damage to the body and be potentially life-threatening. There are a variety of conditions that can result in damage to the kidneys.

If your joints hurt from walking up stairs, opening up jars or other routine activity, you may want to take the RA Factor Test.   Rheumatoid arthritis often causes problems in several joints at the same time – affecting your smaller joints like wrists and ankles first. As the disease progresses, your shoulders, elbows, knees, hips, jaw and neck can also become involved.  Basically, your whole body hurts and it’s not fun.

Adrenal glands that are in balance produce adequate amounts of hormones to power us through the day. These hormones impact just about every process in the body, from energy production and immune activity to cellular maintenance and repair. They are key regulators of glucose, insulin and inflammation, and play a major role in bone and muscle building, mood and mental focus, stamina, sex drive and sleep cycles.

This kit tests the adrenal hormones DHEA-S and Cortisol, the master stress hormone. When individuals experience continuous stress, not only from emotional stressors (e.g., marital, financial, and occupational) but also from physical stressors (e.g., sleep deprivation, caffeine consumption, pain, extreme exercise), it can lead to changes in adrenal hormone levels, related to disorders ranging from anxiety to allergies and irritability to infertility.

This kit is available for purchase in-store or online.

The GLP-1 Monitoring Panel consists of 9 blood tests that can help you and your healthcare provider monitor your health while taking semaglutide or another GLP-1 agonist. Even if you are not taking a GLP-1 agonist, this panel can provide valuable information about your blood sugar and insulin levels, kidney and liver function, thyroid health, blood count, cholesterol, and vitamin B12.

GLP-1 agonists, including semaglutide (Ozempic®, Wegovy®), are medications that are primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes. However, some have also been approved for weight management in individuals with obesity. When taking a GLP-1 agonist for weight loss, monitoring your blood work is essential for several reasons:

• Staying safe: Like all medications, they can sometimes cause side effects. This is why routine lab monitoring is important.  By doing regular blood tests, you and your healthcare provider can detect potential adverse reactions.
• Monitoring organ function: Many medications are processed by your liver and kidneys, so it is important to monitor your liver and kidney function when taking certain medications.
• Checking your nutrients: If you are taking additional supplements while using a GLP-1 agonist, it is important to keep track of your levels.
• Checking blood sugar: GLP-1 agonists like semaglutide are also used to control blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. Even if you are taking one for weight loss, it can still affect your blood sugar.

The GLP-1 Monitoring Panel provides a great starting point for routine lab monitoring while taking semaglutide or another GLP-1 agonist. You should work with your healthcare provider to determine the frequency of lab testing, and to see if any additional testing is needed.

More than 60 million Americans suffer from some degree of sleep loss. It’s no surprise that many of us are still unaware of the connection between hormones and sleep.

Common hormone-related causes of sleep loss:

• High cortisol results in insomnia, anxiety, sugar cravings, feeling tired but wired & increased belly fat
• Low Melatonin results in excessive fatigue, depression, anxiety & insomnia

To restore the vital balance of hormones, you need to start with an accurate measurement of hormone levels.

The Sleep Balance Take Home Hormone Kit includes:

A dried urine test to measure Melatonin levels ( Melatonin (MT6s x 4))
A dried urine test to measure Cortisol levels (Free Cortisol (C x 4))

This kit is available in-store or for purchase online.

If you think you may have been exposed to an STD, or if you simply want to get tested, then the Comprehensive STD Panel could be a good option for you. This panel looks for HIV, syphilis, herpes (HSV1 & HSV 2), gonorrhea, chlamydia, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. If you are interested in testing for additional STDs, you should consider the Comprehensive STD Plus Panel, or the Comprehensive STD Platinum Panel.

Please note that for gonorrhea and/or chlamydia testing, it is recommended that customers not urinate within one hour prior to providing a specimen.  Females also should not cleanse the genital area prior to providing a specimen.

Student titer I panel is needed for healthcare students, school faculty, healthcare and veterinary professionals, medical sales and medical device representatives to have confirmation of immunization through titer testing. The antibody test is an analysis that detects the presence and measures the amount of antibodies in a person’s blood.

Student titer II panel (previously the Allied Health Panel) is needed for healthcare students, school faculty, healthcare and veterinary professionals, medical sales and medical device representatives to have confirmation of immunization through titer testing. The antibody test is an analysis that detects the presence and measures the amount of antibodies in a person’s blood.

This test measures the total amount of circulating thyroxine in your blood. Thyroxine, a hormone produced by the thyroid, is also known as T4. A high value can indicate hyperthyroidism, a low value can indicate hypothyroidism. Total T4 levels can be elevated due to pregnancy, and other high estrogen states, including use of estrogen replacement or birth control pills.

The Testosterone, Free (Direct), Serum with Total Test will determine the level of testosterone (free and total) in your blood.

Testosterone is a hormone (commonly produced in males, but is also in females in small amounts) that affects sexual features and development.  Testosterone levels explode in men after puberty and continue to rise until about age 40.

Overall, this test will give you a better understanding of how much testosterone is in your blood.

Testosterone is a male hormone that helps to maintain bone density, fat distribution, muscle strength and mass, red blood cell production, sex drive and sperm production.  As men age, levels of testosterone naturally decline by about 1% per year after age 30. Extremely low levels of testosterone may be caused by a disease (hypogonadism) in which the body isn’t able to produce enough of the hormone because of a problem with the testicles or the pituitary gland which promotes testosterone production.

If you are considering androgen/testosterone replacement therapy you need to be aware of your overall health so that you are not surprised by new health problems that pop up once you begin therapy.  These screening may uncover underlying issues so that these can be treated before you begin therapy.  In some cases you will not be eligible to receive testosterone therapy if you have one of these conditions because they can cause serious symptoms and health issues.

The thyroid gland is responsible for regulating how your body uses energy. The thyroid also produces hormones critical to proper cell and system functioning.

The Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test checks your body’s production of TSH and helps screen  for thyroid disease, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism.

There are two types of thyroid disorders including:

• Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) – symptoms may include fatigue, weight gain, a short attention span, and numbness or cold intolerance.
• Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) – symptoms may include weight loss, persistent vomiting, increased blood pressure, hair loss or a persistently fast heart rate.

The Iron and Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC) Test measures the amount of iron in your blood.  Having too much or too little iron in your blood can cause medical problems.  However, this test is mainly used to determine certain types of anemia.

Uric acid is the byproduct of the breakdown of purines. This test measures the level of uric acid in the blood. This blood test is used to detect high levels of uric acid in the blood to help diagnose gout. Also, the presence of high uric acid can lead to kidney stones or kidney failure. This test can also be used to monitor levels of uric acid for people that are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment for cancer.

The Urinalysis can determine a number of health problems. It will see if your kidneys are functioning normally, if sugar is present in your urine, if you’re burning fat or if you have a urinary tract infection.  In addition, it can locate substances that may be causing everything from metabolic problems to kidney disorders.  Some doctors request a Urinalysis before surgery or during the early stages of pregnancy.

A bacterium known as Escherichia coli (E. coli) causes the majority of lower urinary tract infections (UTIs). Fortunately, this microorganism is treatable with several antibiotics, including trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, ciprofloxacin, and nitrofurantoin.  For most people the infection will be easily eliminated with one of these antibiotics. Some doctors prescribe an antibiotic without performing a urine culture but the test can definitively identify a UTI.

The urine culture tests for the presence of a single type of bacteria.  If high counts are found the test is generally considered a positive urine culture.  If there are multiple bacteria strains, the culture may have been contaminated and the urine culture may need to be redone.  Symptoms of a UTI include pain and burning when urinating and a frequent urge to urinate.  If symptoms are present, but the urine culture is negative, you may want to consult your doctor who may order a specialized urine culture to look for a wider range of the non-diluted urine to determine if bacteria at lower counts or other microorganisms may be causing the symptoms.  The presence of low number of bacteria and the presence of white blood cells may indicate a condition known as acute urethral syndrome.

The Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV) Titer is a blood test that checks if you are immune to Varicella Zoster Virus, also known as Chickenpox and Shingles. It measures your antibody levels to get a sense for whether your immune system has the capability to respond to an infection with one of these diseases. Some people have had the chickenpox and developed immunity to varicella that way. Other people have developed immunity through receiving the Varicella vaccine series when they are young and/or receive vaccine boosters as adults.

As a consequence of either vaccination or prior exposure, people develop IgG antibodies to Varicella that provide immunity if they are exposed to the disease.

Vitamin B12 (also known as cyanocobalamin or methylcobalamin) is an important nutrient. It is one of eight B-group vitamins that the body needs for essential functions.

Vitamin B12 can be found naturally in foods. It can also be added to foods and supplements. Foods that are naturally high in B12 include fish, red meat, poultry, eggs, dairy products, and more.

We always recommend consulting with your trusted healthcare provider before receiving an injection.

Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin that interacts with and regulates more than 200 genes in the body.  Your body absorbs Vitamin D from exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light on exposed skin, and from plants, fortified foods and supplements.

Hormones are messengers that send signals to various parts of the body; by doing so, they affect the way our organs work, and regulate many different body processes. Hormones naturally follow a cycle, and hormone testing looks at where your hormones are in that cycle.

Hormone imbalances may make it difficult to maintain your weight. The Weight Management Hormone Panel can help you and your healthcare provider understand any potential underlying hormonal imbalances that could affect weight gain, weight loss, or weight management.

This panel looks at various hormones and other factors that play different roles in your body’s ability to maintain weight. Cortisol is a stress hormone that affects your metabolism and the way your body uses sugar- so if you frequently feel stressed, your body will use sugar differently than if you were relaxed. Thyroid hormones also affect your metabolism, which can in turn affect your weight. Your sex hormones- testosterone, estradiol, progesterone, DHEA-S- affect the way that your body deposits fat.

Undetected hormone imbalance can be the missing link as to why achieving and maintaining your optimal weight has been unsuccessful, despite your best efforts with diet and exercise.

The Weight Management kit is ideal for women and men who are struggling with weight issues, menopause or andropause and anyone wanting to get to the root of general health concerns.

The Weight Management Take Home Hormone Kit consists of a dried blood spot test and a saliva test. The test measures bioavailable hormone levels for those with unexplained weight gain, obesity, abdominal fat, high BMI and low metabolism.

This kit is available in-store or for purchase online.
