EtG (Ethyl Glucuronide) Rapid Alcohol Screen (Alcohol Metabolite) (Urine)
The EtG (Ethyl Glucuronide) Rapid Alcohol Screen (Alcohol Metabolite) (Urine) will qualitatively identify the presence or absence of ethyl glucuronide (EtG) in a urine sample. This test is only to be used for screening purposes. A positive result is considered presumptive and should not be interpreted as definitive evidence of alcohol use unless additional laboratory-based testing is conducted. Confirmation of a presumptively positive rapid EtG test result by an independent laboratory is available, if necessary. Additional charges for laboratory confirmations apply.
EtG may be detectable in a person’s urine for up to 80 hours after drinking alcoholic beverages. Only a confirmed positive result for EtG can be considered evidence of alcohol use in that time period.
This rapid alcohol screen requires a standard urine sample that can be collected at the Any Lab Test Now store location of your choice.
