To evaluate blood sugar levels, liver health, kidney health, renal function, electrolyte balance, parathyroid function, iron levels and to assess the possibility of coronary occlusive heart disease.
Many health professionals recommend this test as part of your yearly health maintenance plan. You may choose to take this test more frequently if you have hypertension, hypokalemia (low potassium levels), chronic kidney, renal or liver dysfunction, diabetes or heart disease.
