One in Six Teens Abuse Prescription Drugs Obtained at Home

Medicine abuse is a growing problem among teens in the U.S., with one in six teens taking medicine to get high or change their mood. ANY LAB TEST NOW is joining The Partnership at Drugfree.org’s new national action campaign, The Medicine Abuse Project, in its goal to prevent half a million teens from abusing medicine.

“I am passionate about educating my community about this project and the importance of taking preventative measures to protect our teens,” said Pat Norton, ANY LAB TEST NOW Sales Representative and Paramedic firefighter in the Indianapolis area. “I have had to tell parents that their son or daughter is dead and have experienced their grief. This program could literally prevent somebody from overdosing.”
