The Blood Alcohol Level (Serum Ethanol) test is used to determine if a person has consumed ethanol and to measure the amount of ethanol present.
This test is normally requested when symptoms that suggest alcohol toxicity are apparent, when a person is suspected of violating drinking-related laws or as part of a drug testing panel. It can also be used as a self-screen to determine if alcohol is present in your blood.
If you're considering the Blood Alcohol Level (Serum Ethanol) Test, you may want to consider the Urine Drug Test (10-Panel), the Urine Drug Test with alcohol or 11-Panel Rapid Result Drug Screen.
