In celebration of National Kidney Month, you can assess your kidney health with our Kidney Function Value Panels and other individual tests, for much less than your doctor’s office, hospital or other traditional channel.

Kidney Function Panel – Only $129
The Kidney Function Panel helps you save OVER $100 (if you were to buy each test individually) and gives you a clearer picture of your overall kidney health. The Value Panel includes several tests including:

  • Chemistry Panel: Includes 16 essential tests, specifically the Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate, which shows the filtering capacity of the kidneys.
  • Complete Blood Count: Counts your red blood cells, which carry oxygen to all the tissues from the lungs.
  • Hemoglobin A1c: Monitors diabetes.
  • Microalbumin: Measures the presence of this protein in your urine.
  • Urinalysis: Measures the protein and the sugar in the urine.

Diabetic Urinalysis - $49
The Diabetic Urinalysis tests for the presence of this protein in your urine and can help determine if your diabetes treatment is working adequately. Most importantly, it can alert your doctor to any complications from the disease (such as kidney disease).

Albumin is a protein that is filtered by your kidneys and therefore, not usually found in the urine. If present in your urine, albumin may be the result of damaged kidneys. Early detection may change treatment in an effort to preserve as much kidney function as possible.

Chemistry Panel - $49
The Chemistry Panel includes 16 essential tests that are typically requested by your doctor as part of a routine check-up or annual physical. This panel gives you or your doctor a clearer picture of your overall health. Note: This panel requires fasting. Do not eat for 10-12 hours before taking the panel to ensure its accuracy.

  • Sodium (Na) Potassium (K), Chloride (C) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) - When tested, irregular values in these “electrolytes” can indicate trouble with your body’s salt/water or acid/base balance. Dehydration, vomiting, medications and kidney problems can cause these health issues.
  • Albumin (Alb), Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), Bilirubin (Bil)-Direct and Total, Aspartate Transaminase (AST); and Alanine Transaminase (ALT) – These are proteins and enzymes found in the blood. Abnormal levels of any of these tests can indicate liver damage or liver disease.
  • Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN), Calcium (Ca), Creatinine (Cr), Phosporus and Glucose Testing – These tests check for a range of problems that affect the kidneys, including kidney disease. These also measure the waste in the blood that may affect kidney filtration.
