When was the last time you had a checkup? Can't remember? Maybe you only go so that your doctor will give you the prescription for your cholesterol medication? Most people go to the doctor as a last resort, either because they are too busy or they don't want to hear any bad news.

Pregnancy Testing – Earlier is Better for Your Baby

Pregnancy tests have improved dramatically in recent years allowing women to provide the best environment – their own bodies! – for their babies. In the past, it was necessary to wait until you had missed your menstrual period before you were assured of getting an accurate diagnosis. Newer blood tests, the quantitative blood test or beta hCG test, can provide accurate readings as early as 6 to 8 days after ovulation.

Infertility

Approximately 85% of women will become pregnant within one year of trying. This young lady had been unsuccessful for 21 months. If she had not become pregnant, she probably would have used fertility treatments, as do many women with PCOS.
